Our Story

EXPLORERS INSPIRE US

They question the status quo. They create new ways of doing things and understanding the world. We try to bring the same approach to our work at Vendo. From the start we had a different point of view than other billers. We started exploring ways to sell at the point of sale.

We asked questions that billing companies didn’t ask. Questions like, “What does our partner really need?” and “How can I help the shopper get what he needs?” The big question we asked was, “How can we bring selling to billing?”

"Those questions lead us to explore new areas at the point of sale…"

THIS ISN'T OUR FIRST TIME BEING FIRST...

FIRST

To provide A/B split testing to compare net revenue between different providers.

FIRST

To translate the point of sale and payment process for 95% of shoppers.

FIRST

To price in the local currency and find the right price per country.

FIRST

To make dozens of international payment methods available.

FIRST

To adjust risk algorithms to significantly increase international throughput.

FIRST

To provide local toll free numbers in dozens of countries and local language support.

WHAT DO WE VALUE?

INNOVATION

We are not satisfied with the status quo. We are explorers, constantly looking for a better way. We don’t settle, we ask why, we experiment, and we act. That’s how we grow.

PASSION

Passion is our foundation. It comes first. It is the catalyst. It motivates us to work hard, using our imagination and knowledge to achieve our goals. We are proud of the amazing things we create together.

FUN

We like what we do. We enjoy ourselves and the people we work with. We like skateboarding, space camp, beer, gaming, yoga, hockey, BBQs, diving, fantasy football, parties on the terrace, Barcelona and stuff.

FLEXIBILITY

We see change as a constant.  We embrace it. We are smart, nimble and relentless. We pursue compelling opportunities to eliminate inefficiencies to create value.

VISIONARY

We see what could be and we build it.

TENACIOUS

We are strong, stubborn and persistent in pursuing our purpose. We are very focused and we get things done. We are competitive and we come prepared to win.
